Work

To working parents in the US: when after the passing of your child did you go back to work? I lost the love of my life on 09/24 and I can’t be on PTO forever. Next week I’ll have to talk to HR to figure out next steps. I work fully remote but in a demanding, client facing role. Any advice/stories welcome.

This is a nightmare

Please help me wake up. This didn’t happen, it isn’t real. He’s only 15months. He’s healthy. I was chasing him around the house in the morning. A few hours later daycare calls to say he’s not breathing and they’re doing CPR. What happened. How do I turn back time. I’ll keep you home with me. I’ll take care of you. I’m sorry. Come back. I love you. I’m so sorry. I want to hold your hands. I want to feel your weight in my arms. Tickle you. Caress your hair. Kiss your cheeks. Please. I’ll do anything. Where are you.
