NOP/ORL/CHI

Mosely brings one of his guys from the Magic to new Orleans. He provides more consistent interior defence and defensive rebounding, both of which were large flaws in the pelicans this year.

The magic get a stretch big to improve their poor shooting, spacing the floor for Paulo and Franz while also being a decent defender.

The bulls trade for a player with high upside as a rim protector and offensive rebounder to add to their promising young core as their new center

MIN/NOP

Twolves get a young center in Yves Missi to be a high upside center or a trade piece, Dejounte Murray would be a true PG to this timberwolves team and provide shot creation, playmaking and defence, pairing well with ant Edwards in the backcourt.

Pelicans get a defensive anchor to be their rim protection and defensive rebounding they desperately need in order to be more competitive next year.

DET/NOP

Detroit trade for a second option to cade with an elite floor spacing 6'8 wing with elite athleticism and good defensive tools on a great contract.

The Pelicans get a big that they can play with both queen and Zion with his shooting and defence, a young player in lanier and 3 frps to build for the future with Fears, queen and Zion being their core pieces.

The Pelicans are probably not Brown's first preference as a small market team but imo they could offer the most for JB

DAL/DET/NOP

Dallas get a younger player with higher upside in Yves Missi as well as picks and an expiring deal, shifting their timeline to build around cooper, Poole expiring next year allows them to have cap flexibility.

The pistons get shooting in Klay and give up LeVert who hasn't been as good as they would have hoped, boosting their floor spacing, improving one of their only weaknesses.

The Pelicans get a center with a higher floor, despite the lower upside, I could see them doing this as it fixes one of their biggest flaws in defensive rebounding and provides more consistent interior defence.

ATL/DAL/NOP

The mavericks get younger with missi as opposed to gafford providing them with higher upside, they also get a good shooter in kispert, helping their poor shooting around cooper.

The hawks get off of long term money, gaining poole's expiring deal and 2 second round picks, providing them with draft assets while removing a guy who had a minimal role in the playoffs, often playing under 10 mins

The pelicans get better defensive rebounding, which was one of their main weaknesses last season as well as more consistent interior defence, allowing for them to be more competitive next season.

Trey Murphy

Who do you think is most likely to pursue trey Murphy, with the pelicans not owning a pick in a loaded class this year they may be more incentivised to finally sell high on him. I understand the pistons retained interest, do you think the warriors would still pursue him despite Steph aging and a limited competitive window, Giannis seems more out than in so I doubt the bucks pursue him, could Dallas be an interesting destination? Curious to know your thoughts.
