[Web] [2010s] Text based game where you descend into a nuclear waste site and the text gets more glitched the deeper you go
Looking for a text only game I played sometime in the mid-to-late 2010s. It has been a while so my memory got a bit blurred.
Platform(s): Web browser, standalone webpage with no platform or storefront
Genre: Interactive fiction, horror
Estimated year of release: Mid-to-late 2010s
Graphics/art style: Text only, no images. As you progressed deeper, the background went dark and some texts shifted to something like bright green. I don't exactly remember whether it was green box or red box or another. No CSS, just background and text color changes
Notable characters: there's only one character (I guess) and that's the player. You discovers a massive underground repository left behind(but it doesn't say it is a repository)
Notable gameplay mechanics: Choice-based, clicking hyperlinks to progress. The further you descended, the more the game made clear you couldn't go back. The text itself became increasingly corrupted and glitched the deeper you went, like zalgo text or broken font rendering, until it was nearly unreadable
Other details: The game never explicitly used words like "nuclear" or "radiation" The nature of the place was implied rather than stated. Pretty short overall. English.
