Looking for anyone who has experienced being in the hiring process with HSI and had a military deployment in the middle of it. Essentially I got through all of my hiring steps up until the PFT and I got tagged with a deployment. I should be home from the deployment around April timeframe of 27. I was told to reach out to HROC toward the end of the deployment and they would finish my hiring steps. I guess I’m a little worried that this will mess something up with being hired. Anyone experience this or something similar?

I applied to the ATF 26-DE-12890564-RT announcement on Feb. 19th. I received an email on 4/28 stating “you must complete additional assessments in order to be considered for this position”. Later on in the email it explains that if you see that prompt, to be patient as it may take a couple weeks to receive the email to take the exam. Furthermore it states your status will be read as “ineligible” until you take the assessment.

I just got an email saying I was ultimately found ineligible due to not taking the assessment. I confirmed I never got any email on steps to take the assessment or any guidance on it.

Anyone else in the same boat? Any insight would be great. Thank you.

6/25 UPDATE: I sent an email to support@pdri.com which is who they told me to direct questions to. They basically told me they sent the online assessment instruction email on 4/29 which I can confirm I never received. They then told me there is nothing they can do to fix this and encouraged me to apply for future ATF announcements. Also stated they understand how discouraging this is. Welp looks like ATF is not the way to go lol.
