I finally finished my Victorian Maid Dress for MDD in 2 colors – Greige & Pink [OC]
【Volks MDD】
I've been working on this for a long time, and I'm so happy it's finally done! 🎉
Introducing my Royal Victorian Maid Dress for MDD — made in two colors:
greige and pink.
The dress has a full-circle skirt with large puff sleeves and long cuffs.
I spent a lot of time adjusting the sleeve opening so it falls cleanly
around the wrist. The bodice has delicate pin tucks and a neat stand collar.
There's also a ruffled petticoat underneath that peeks out from the hem.
The apron was the trickiest part — I kept adjusting the frills and proportions
until the overall silhouette felt just right. The shoulder frills help brighten
up the face area. There's a tiny fork & spoon charm on the waist belt
that I'm especially proud of 🍴
The maid cap also went through many iterations to get the frill volume perfect.
Which color do you prefer — greige or pink? 🤍🩷
