What's the thought process of people against abortion??

I'm actually so damn confused when people bring up how women misuse abortion and they should live with the "consequences" of opening their legs, therefore abortion should be illegal.

And I really have to ask this, do people even care about kids anymore? A child is not a "consequence" and why would you want a child to be born to a mother who doesn't want kids? Does their concern end as soon as the child is born? Because from my perspective, speaking as someone who was born unwanted, I'd never wish that fate on someone else. I often think this yk? People want to take away abortion rights but that's where their pro life tendencies end, what about afterwards? What if that child undergoes prolonged abuse at the hands of the mother who didn't want motherhood? What about the children who are abandoned in orphanages or on streets as toddlers/infants? Do people not realise what type of environment they are demanding for these kids just to fulfill some twisted sense of moral high ground and so that they can take away a woman's autonomy?

It's really ridiculous and pisses me tf off, not a day goes by where I don't wish I was aborted. And I've come across various victims of parental abuse in therapy groups that I've attended over the years. Parents mess up the kids they do want, imagine the psychological/physical damage they would do to kids they don't want? I really can't fathom why someone would want that for a child.
