Jio says my Indian iPhone 17 Pro Max is not 5G compatible… but another Jio SIM gets True 5G instantly 🤦‍♂️

I’ve been dealing with this issue for days now and Jio support has honestly been useless so far.

My device:
- iPhone 17 Pro Max
- Indian retail variant (M****HN/A)
- 5G enabled
- Latest Jio carrier profile installed
- Fully supports Jio 5G bands

But my own Jio SIM is permanently stuck on JIO 4G and the MyJio app says:
> “You are using a 4G device.”

Jio support then emailed me saying:
> “Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (A3526) is not Jio True 5G compatible.”

Which is insane for a flagship iPhone.

Now here’s the important part:
When I insert my brother’s Jio SIM into the SAME phone, it immediately connects to Jio True 5G without any issue.

So clearly:
- the phone IS compatible
- 5G coverage exists in my area
- and the problem is with Jio’s backend provisioning/database for my number or IMEI mapping

Looks like Jio has incorrectly classified my IMEI/TAC as non-5G compatible in their system.

I’ve already:
- reset network settings
- restarted multiple times
- checked carrier updates
- verified Indian variant
- enabled all 5G settings

Still nothing.

Has anyone else faced this exact issue? How do you get Jio to escalate this beyond scripted customer support replies
