In the southeast side neighborhood. Sounds like a plane going overhead, followed by at least three much louder booms. Any ideas on what could be going on?

Hello! We will be stopping in Lafayette for four days in June (me, spouse, 5yo, and dog). What do you recommend seeing and doing?

Also, any food recommendations, either restaurants/cafes or special local items you can get at the grocery store for picnics?
