Hey everyone i just got my tonsils removed and still lay in the hospital. I woke up from anesthesia and had no pain, just felt rlly dizzy

Now its been 2 hrs still no pain, i drank water, ate a banana + a protein smoothie. Also just got medicine (private international hospital in vietnam and self payed no insurance).

The only thing i feel is my throat feels really tight and dry is that normal? Do you have any advice for me for the next days? 🙏🏽

Hello everyone. As a child i had a tonsil infection quite often like every 3-4 weeks.

Im now 23 and still deal with that bs it really drains my life quality. I cant do anything. I go to the sauna, my throat feels weird the next day, i walk in the heat (i live in thailand) my whole body aches, i hit the gym (bad breath + body aches a few days later).

Whenever i went to the doctor they always tell me my tonsils are inflamed. There was not a single case i felt sick and the doctor said “oh its just a fever” it was ALWAYS all related to my tonsils.

When i was 18 i almost had a full year without being sick, now for the last 2 years im constantly sick. All my friends tell me thats not normal and i did my research and everything keeps telling me i need to remove my tonsils.

Now im planning to pay the tonsillectomy myself next week hoping it will change my life.

Ive done bloodwork the past months every marker is in good range i dont have anything concerning about my blood markers.

Im just afraid that even after the surgery i will still get sick all the time, because when my tonsils get infected i get all kinds of shit with it like headache, feel weak, hot body, sometimes fever, sometimes im fressezing.. do you guys really think removing my tonsils is the right thing?

I optimized everything about my life, cardio, losed bodyfat, diet on point macros and micros, sleep, supplements.. however i still get sick if i do something that puts a little stress on my body.
