Year 10s, what are you doing for your work experience?

I can’t believe it’s been a year since doing it myself 😭 anyone going to veterinary practices? And how is it going so far, I believe a lot of you had your first full day today??

what did you do for your 16th? 😮‍💨

Genuinely need ideas on what to do because i really don’t think I want to do anything with my ‘friends’ (i can’t stand them anymore (you might’ve seen my ran abt them), they’re not the nicest and would 100% stress me out and ruin the day) but I also js don’t know what to do in general??

My birthday isn’t until August but I just like getting stuff done that requires booking or planning and all that jazz.

I literally have nothing to do and nobody seems to want to do anything w me 🫩🫩 (minor rant)

i mean we’ve made plans it’s js the thing is about my group they all chat shit about each other and have like their own micro-groups (surprise surprise im not in any of those micro-groups and as the moment i got closest to a best friend again they all hated her and were saying so much about her that we js stopped talking for a while) and there always js saying to one another “like when we went to your house the other day” as i was sat at home all weekend by myself, knowing full well i’d have hands down invited them if they had nothing to do and i had something planned with others

i don’t share much in common with them but we all still chat and whatnot about what’s going on in our lives, it js sucks that at almost 16 (despite them all being practically 16) they talk so much shit about each other over the pettiest things to the point it’s humiliating. and i’ve been shouted at by one of my supposed ‘friends’ several times for simply existing and even calling me a shit friend to my face.

also to say two of my friends act like 8 year olds entirely the way they treat me, i think they all perceive me so easy going and quiet they js think im unfazed by everything to the fact they tried to make me feel guilty for (hopefully) going to a sixth form and not some college filled with druggies 🫩🫩 (i apologise for the rant)

it’s just not like a comfortable environment if you understand what i mean?

we should all js be friends, y’all are cool 😭😭

had a dream about maths p4 😖

there was a colony of triangles and a question asking to express 90 in consideration of its prime factors (not horrible, it was easily doable) but for whatever reason i couldn’t write my centre number right nor my own candidate number 💔💔

then the paper was like THICK and just filled with so many questions (around 10 each double page) and the exam wasn’t even an hour long so for whatever reason i only answered 3 QUESTIONS out of like the 120 on the paper (the paper DID NOT look like an edexcel paper btw, more AQA like)

the invigilators didn’t even come to collect our papers so i considered stealing it and trying to put it back later but i didn’t wanna risk malpractice so i gave it to them, they were all lined up sat down at a table talking with other students like it was the chase or something and i still hadn’t written the centre number or candidate number write as a lady stood before me 😞😞

woke up thinking that was my whole future gone and lost in the oppressive heat ☹️ but it was js a dream and i forgot GCSEs js weren’t on anymore

I need last minute prom tips.

Mine is in about 12 days, my dress is in the tailor ready for next friday, hair and makeup booked in but like the general stuff! What accessories should I get? My dress is an emerald green and it has straps so i don’t know how to accessorise myself ☹️☹️

I am working out too js to get rid of any stress leftover from GCSEs and water weight (my asthmatic ass couldn’t find time to during exam season).

Opinions on my A-level choices?

Hello, I was just wondering if I could have an opinion on my A-level choices following finishing my GCSEs today! I plan to hopefully go to my chosen sixth form doing A-level Biology, A-level Chemistry, A-level Environmental Science and then the AS level EPQ.

I’d like to go into vetmed and a lot of the vet schools I aspire to go to when the time comes around ask for AAA.

I know Chemistry is notorious for being the one of, if not the most, hardest A-level out there and I absolutely love biology with a passion but I’m wondering:

- How much content load will there be throughout the course?
- What topics in each A-level are essentially the most complex?
- What advice do you have for to ensure a successful start to sixth form?
- How much studying would I most likely need to do a week?

I’m not trying to immerse myself in it all now, it’d just be nice to have a heads up!
