Pride in health issue
Hi all, I’m a trans guy and currently with Pride in Health in the UK for testosterone gel. I started t since early January and now it’s almost time for my 6 months review. However I’m an international student and will be returning to my home country for the summer at the end of June and returning in to the UK in September.
Before registering, I specifically asked whether getting a travel supply would be possible and was reassured that it should be fine. However, now they are saying they can only issue a 1 month bridging prescription until I complete another monitoring appointment and blood tests, and the earliest appointment they currently offered me is in July which is after I leave the UK.
I’ve already emailed them again asking if there’s any flexibility because after calculating my current supply + the bridging prescription, I would only need around one additional bottle to cover the holiday period. But I am not sure what they would do with this situation.
I’m honestly feeling really stressed because they are email-only and replies are slow. I’m trying to figure out what my options are if this doesn’t get resolved before I leave the UK. I am thinking of buying one bottle of t gel online but I am not quite sure.
Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Would really appreciate any advice because I honestly feel quite lost right now.
