Any one who lives in Ripley knows the local parks are generally full of kids playing or having birthday parties on the weekend.  So I always slow down to 40 km or less when passing the parks so why do some idiots find the need to overtake at high speed only to be stopped at the next set of lights. 

Does anyone remember when sections of the M7 street lights were turned off? I had an early morning drive recently, and it was very foggy. Those lights would have really helped.

Notice this application for a liquor licence on the grassland next to Ripley shopping centre. Wondering if anyone has any knowledge or insight to what sort of venue this will be?
