Unauthorized payment: Around $250 were stolen from my Paypal!
Hey folks, does anyone have any idea how should I open a complain to Meta or talk directly to customer support for a Payment I didn't authorize. Looks like I've been a victim or subject to a scam or my Business account was attacked by fraudsters.
The thing here is, that I've not been using my Facebook for any Paid campaign for about 5 years, but my Paypal was connected to a business page years ago (family member's business) - I guess the leak may have been coming through it. I've verified and double checked everything, no campaign was run or set up.
The email I got from Paypal says:
You paid €200,00 EUR to Meta Platforms, Inc.
The transfer was made, as I've checked and verified at the Paypal transactions.
PS. I've now deactivated all "Automatic Payments" at the settings Paypal's settings section.
Any suggestions/tips how can I get my money back would be much appreciated!
