I am finally at the point of buying a new car as my 2009 RAV4 is on her last legs. I'm thinking about switching to Subaru and like the Solterra but am nervous as I've never owned an EV before. I see a lot of conflicting opinions so I wanted to ask here for thoughts. I live in Indianapolis, drive about a mile total every day. So not a lot. There's a Level 2 charger .25 miles from my house at a office that I often work at. I am not really concerned with resale value as I like to buy a car and stick with it for a decade. The longest drive I would ever have to do would be 2 1/2 hours and that would be once every month or two months. Should I be considering the 2023s and 2024s?
