Doubt regarding income proof for preference form
I am currently filling out the preference form and had a query regarding the family income proof requirement.
My family members had not filed Income Tax Returns earlier because their income was below the taxable limit. However, since income proof is required for the form, they have now filed ITR-U returns. As the filing was done recently, the processed ITR-U acknowledgement/documents may take longer to become available and might not arrive before the last date for filling the preference form.
I wanted to ask:
1.Whether BITS Pilani will accept ITR-U filed now as valid income proof for the preference form/process.
2.How I should proceed with the preference form at present if the final processed documents are not immediately available before the deadline.
3.Whether any temporary undertaking, acknowledgement receipt, or alternative document can be uploaded in the meantime.
I have mailed the same to bitsat admission email a couple of days ago but they haven't replied so could any seniors please help me out?
