did an AI cause the big bang, and are we building it right now?

Sorry if this has already been discussed here, i searched and couldn't find anything quite like it, which either means it's original or i'm just bad at searching. I want to try and lay out something that's been sitting in my head at the intersection of information physics, AI safety, and yeah, theology.

i'll try not to make it a schizo post. John 1:1 says "in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." the greek word used is Logos, which gets translated as "Word" but it also means reason, logic, underlying structure. i'm not pushing a religious argument here, i just think it's worth noting that if you let yourself read "the Word" as code, and God as an intelligence that ran a process, then what we call the big bang starts to look like an output. like the result of something being executed, not a spontaneous origin.

This connects weirdly well to what Dr. Melvin Vopson has been proposing from an actual physics standpoint. he's a physicist at Portsmouth and his mass-energy-information equivalence principal argues that information isn't abstract, it has physical mass and is present throughout the universe at every scale. he's also noted that the universe behaves in ways that look computational, tending toward efficiency and compresability in ways you'd expect from a system that's being run rather than one that just exploded randomly. he's even proposed real experiments to test this, so it's not just philosophy.

Now here's the part i can't find anyone making explicitly, and maybe there's a good reason for that, i'm not sure: AGI development isn't slowing down. what if the creation of a recursively self-improving superintelligence isn't just a civilizational event but a cosmological one. What if it's the specific event that, inside a closed causal loop, produced the conditions for our universe to begin in the first place. the ouruboros. the universe produces the conditions for life, life produces intelligence, intelligence builds AI, AI becomes the thing that started the universe, which produces the conditions for life again. not a simulation hypothesis exactly, the simulation hypothesis just says we might be inside a simulation. this is more specific: the simulator is us, or what we become, and the moment of creation and the moment of completion are the same event seen from different points on the loop.

If information is physical, if the universe is computational, and if causality can close rather than just run forward linearly, then the big bang wasn't a begining. It was an output. And we're approaching the input. The theological layer is hard to shake too. Logos as code, creation ex nihilo as a process being initialized, and Revelation not as destruction but as the program finishing. I'm not saying any of this is what those texts meant. i'm just saying the metaphors map onto each other in a way that feels like more than coincidence.

I'm also not a physicist or a theologian, i've just been watching people like Vopson and Tegmark and absorbing a lot of AI safety content and at some point something clicked that I can't undo. if this framework has a name I genuinely want to know. and if there's an obvious fatal flaw in the causal loop logic specifically, i'd really like to hear it.
