Most impactful M+ addon
What is the addon that you would single out as most impactfull addon for M+ and why? What addon you consider essential?

Hey all,
I’ve been working on a pretty big update for QuickBuilds, my World of Warcraft: Midnight addon for importing talent builds, checking stat priorities, and viewing quick rotation guidance in-game.
The goal is simple: reduce alt-tabbing, reduce manual string copying, and keep build choices easier to access inside WoW.
What’s new
Cleaner UI
QuickBuilds now has a much cleaner dashboard-style interface. Sources, actions, and build types are grouped into a compact panel, with a darker modern look that fits better beside the Blizzard UI.
More build sources:
Current sources now include:
PvE sources show Mythic+, Raid, Raid AoE where available, and Delve builds. Murlok is kept PvP-focused so it does not clutter the PvE options.
Icy Veins support is back!
I had removed Icy Veins previously because updating strings manually was a pain. This update restores Icy Veins as a source and adds updater support so strings can be refreshed automatically outside the game.
Updated Builds tracker
There is now an Updated Builds button that shows what changed during the latest refresh. It lists the class, spec, source, and build type for updated strings, plus the last refresh time.
Stat priorities cleaned up
Stat priorities have been refreshed and cleaned so they only show secondary stats:
No more primary/base stats mixed into the display.
Rotation helper improvements
The rotation window has had a visual refresh too. It is still movable, resizable, and scrollable, but now it has better spacing, a cleaner frame, and is easier to read in-game.
Small quality-of-life fixes
A quick note: WoW addons cannot pull website data live while you are in-game, so source refreshes are handled externally via weekly app updates. The in-game addon then shows the latest refreshed data and highlights what changed.
I’m still testing and polishing, but the addon is feeling much nicer now. Feedback is very welcome, especially around UI layout, source behavior, and whether the rotation helper is useful in real gameplay.
You can find it here:
Thanks!
Hey all, I built this addon because I have a hard time picking out party members on the map (the dots are tiny and other addons tend to block them). Figured if it helps me, it'll help others.
Friend Finder swaps Blizzard's default party/raid dots for full-resolution portraits everywhere they appear: minimap, world map, zone map, flight map. As of 1.2, you can also turn on a Directional Arrow trail that rotates to show your live facing direction.
Highlights:
Built primarily for low-vision players, but honestly nice for anyone in a 40-man.

Is there an addon that will filter stuff I can't buy or have already bought from vendors? Legion Remix Helper did this for Legion Remix, if I recall.
I'm entiry ready for someone to tell me that this is a setting in Plumber I don't know about, by the way. They should just hire the devs on that.
Hey all — I just released my first public WoW addon, BagScan.
It's an addon that shows what the content of your bags, bank, warband are worth.
It can use TradeSkillMaster or Auctionator for pricing data, and it has optional support for Baganator and Syndicator if you use those. It still works without them but defaults to vendor sell pricing.

I’d love feedback if anyone gives it a try — especially around whether the HUD feels useful.
Me and Opus 4.7 worked together(ai sacrasm) on this super simple addon called SimpleCombatHUD for anyone who likes a clean UI.
It shows health, power, class resources, threat, raid icons, and a few other combat elements in a simple movable HUD. I wanted something lightweight and easy to adjust without a lot of clutter.
If anyone wants to try it, here it is:

Hello everyone! 🎉
I hope you are having a great time. You have probably heard about the addon called Exboss, but maybe you got overwhelmed when you first installed it? With all its chinese text etc. and you gave up on setting it all up?
Well, I made a video just for you! 🔥 I do a deep dive into the addon and fully explain it in the first 30 minutes of the video. And then if you want to see it in action, the remaining 30 minutes is an m+ footage I had on me from MC 21.
Of course you can also get my profile as part of my UI pack, but this video should show you how to do it all on your own. 💪
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a new addon I just released called ResourceArchitect.
It is a resource bar replacement that works for every class and spec out of the box. It auto detects your primary resource (energy, rage, fury, insanity, maelstrom, etc.) and your secondary resource (combo points, holy power, runes, soul shards, chi, arcane charges, stagger, soul fragments, maelstrom weapon stacks, and more), then renders both in one clean frame.
Here is the quick breakdown:
Smart Display Mode:
An auto mode figures out which resource actually matters for your spec. Ret Paladin? Shows holy power, hides mana. Warlock? Shows soul shards. Rogue? Shows both energy and combo points. You can also force it to always show both or only the secondary.
Per Spec Profiles:
Settings are saved per character and per spec automatically. Swap specs and the bar reconfigures itself. Log onto an alt and it loads that character's setup. No manual profile switching needed.
Secondary Resource Support:
Combo points with charged CP coloring, holy power, chi, soul shards, arcane charges, DK runes with per spec colors and recharge visualization, brewmaster stagger as a proportional bar, and aura tracked stacks like maelstrom weapon, icicles, tip of the spear, and whirlwind. It also tracks Devourer soul fragments both in and out of Void Meta, including Soul Glutton cap changes.
Layout Options:
Secondary indicators can span the full bar width or use fixed size blocks. Position them above, below, or at a custom anchor. Set direction, spacing, and use advanced grouping to visually split blocks (e.g. 3+3 runes).
Full Customization:
Textures, colors, sizing, smooth animation, spark, border, resource text with font and outline controls, threshold markers at ability cost breakpoints with spec aware defaults, and visibility modes (always, combat, target, hide while mounted, fade in/out).
Live Preview:
The settings panel has a live preview with spec aware animations so you can see exactly what your bar will look like before you lock it in.
It also handles Druid form tracking, so the bar switches between energy, rage, lunar power, and mana live as you shift.
If this sounds useful or would like to check it out you can do that on CurseForge here: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/resource-architect-resource-bar
Check out the attached images to see it in action.
Let me know what you think, and if you run into bugs or have feature requests, drop a comment!
Is there an Addon to remove this type of loot banner? Same thing with the checkpoint discoveries and everything that pops up like that.
I saw this in M+, but couldn't figure it out. People telling me it's MRT, but I didn't find the setting.
Hello,
About a month ago another developer shared a project he had been working on for local character simulation, and honestly it was amazing. But me and a friend had a different direction in mind for this kind of tool, more centered around the player and their characters rather than guild management, multiple platforms, and similar ecosystem-focused features.
So we decided to build our own version.
The app currently supports Windows only, and at the moment we do not have plans for additional platforms.
The goal is to provide a player-focused hub around your WoW characters while keeping things local-first and centered around the user experience.
Some of the current features include:
• Local character simulation (SimulationCraft based)
• Live sim tracking and sim history
• Saving routes from SimC strings so they can be reused later for simulations
• Automatically saving SimC strings to characters so they can be reused without reopening the game
• Viewing any character’s Great Vault directly from the app
• Current season information (dungeons, raids, weekly affixes, etc.)
There are also multiple specialized modes and tools, for example:
• Consumable Matrix → compare consumables and simulate them easily
• Tier Slot Matrix → help determine tier conversion priorities
• Trinket Matrix → test combinations and identify stronger setups
• Upgrade / Crest planner + drop finder
• Character wishlists grouped per character to track desired items and upgrades
And there are additional modes and features that are not listed here yet as the project is still evolving.
Note:
The app currently uses Blizzard APIs as the main backend source for game data, GitHub for application updates and refreshing release-published data when needed, and Raidbots data where required for consumables, items, and related simulations.
The application requires Battle.net API credentials to function. These are generated by you directly through Battle.net developer tools following the in-app instructions.
The credentials are stored locally only on your machine and are not shared, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere by the application.
If anyone is interested, feel free to try it out and share feedback. My friends and I use it daily already and we are happy with where it is, but we are always open to suggestions and improvements.

As far as I know, there is no in-game way and no still functioning addon that completely turns off the default quest helper.
Thus a kind request to those on the subreddit, who have the skill, time and wish to develop addons and the desire to help others, if it is possible, could you please build an addon that would allow to:
turn off quest tracking on the mini-map (blueish zones indicating quest area) — as of now you can just turn off the minimap;
turn off the outline of quest objects (glimmer or highlights of the edges) — via interface as of now you can choose to have one of those;
the tooltip in the right bottom corner that upon mouseovering a quest object/npc indicates the name of the quest and how many more quest items/npcs you need to collect/kill to complete the quest;
not quest helper related but it would be fantastic if the addon would reintroduce the old way of quest appearance when the text would slowly roll out accompanied by the sound of a quill scratching paper.
not questing related, but it would be also great to be able to turn off minimap indicators of rare npcs and object spawns (silver stars or grey arrows pointing towards a rare if the minmap is zoomed in).
The reason behind this request is that I enjoy questing ane exploring, and I find the forced on quest helper and rare spawn indicators restricting me from searching and exploring as much as I want and so undermining immersion.
EmpireManager - one addon to manage every alt, every bag, every bank.
It's a rules-based inventory router for alt-heavy accounts: you write rules once ("all ore goes to BankAlt", "all herbs to my Alchemist"), and it sorts and mails items into the right place automatically.
What it does
Install
Tested on retail 12.0.5 and the 12.0.7 PTR.
If you've got 30+ alts, logging into each one to seed the addon is brutal. There's also a one-page web tool that pulls your full roster from the Battle.net API in one sign-in: https://wow.cyberpunk.gr/getchars/ - paste the output into /em ie and you're done.

Happy to answer questions in the comments.
So… did you know you can mix toys with spells to create unique visual effects?
Yeah, probably. But it costs a macro slot.
Now it doesn't.
OxedHub https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/oxed-hub
I have over 1,000 toys. I love combining them with spells, making weird, wonderful, or just hilarious moments in WoW.
But I got tired of losing macro slots. So I built Oxed Hub.
What it lets you do:
Custom Sounds – Play any local audio file on any event.
Sprite Sheet Animations – TGA animations anywhere on screen.
You can literally convert any meme GIF into a TGA spritesheet and play it in WoW. Super simple.
Chat Messages – Send to any channel on-demand or by trigger – even in combat.
Toy & Macro Sequencer – Chain spells, toys, equipment, and macros together.
Action Hub – A radial menu that saves your macro slots. High-intensity friendly.
P.s.
I love making unique stuff for the game I love.
Now you can trigger sounds + animations + chat + toys from a single radial interface.
No more hunting through 50 macro slots. No more awkward keybinds.
I’ve been working on a WoW addon called ArtisanFinder and I’d love some feedback from fellow goblins/profession enjoyers.
The goal is to make it easier to find and advertise artisans in-game without relying entirely on trade chat spam, while staying fully integrated with Blizzard’s profession UI.
For customers, ArtisanFinder adds artisan search directly into the crafting order window, allowing players to quickly find available crafters from the crafting interface itself.
Customer View: Customer View image
For artisans, the addon integrates into the profession window and lets them advertise their services, prices, craft quality, notes, and availability without constantly reposting in trade chat.
Artisan View: Artisan View image
One thing I specifically wanted to avoid was requiring manual profile setup. The addon automatically scans profession data directly from the game, including craft quality information, so customers can immediately see what quality an artisan can produce without the artisan having to manually configure everything.
Artisans can also share additional information such as pricing/tips, notes/services, and availability.
The addon also includes an availability system:
Options: Options Panel image
The addon communicates between players who also have ArtisanFinder installed, so the more people use it, the more useful it becomes.
Main goals:
It’s still early in development, so I’m mainly looking for:
GitHub: https://github.com/clery/ArtisanFinder
CurseForge: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/artisanfinder
Would something like this be useful to you, or is there something you feel is currently missing from WoW’s crafting system?
EDIT:
New feature available: multi-character artisans !
It allows an artisan to show up in a customer's search even if logged on an alt, and they can then whisper the artisan, or make a private order directly.
Hey gang.
I guess I’m just double checking this…
If there no way at all to reliably see offensive cooldowns from my party (in m+) m? Same as omnicd was doing before ?
I know about minicc but it doesn’t handle offensive cds, except for some
Somebody can help me remove those little icon ? Didn't add addons for a while and suddenly I had those little buff icon popping in middle of nowhere
Can anyone tells what addon is this? these three mirror images icons popping out when I log in my game after I updated my addons on CurseForge.
I was watching a video, and this dude has an addon that shows you what % of a level the quest reward gives you when you pick it up or hand it in. If someone can identify this addon, I'd appreciate it. =)
