Dread Almanac, an addon that logs everything your character does in your WoW adventures
I wanted to know where my time, gold and dignity actually go in WoW, so I built Dread Almanac: an addon that quietly records nearly everything your character does, in a window styled like an old warlock's tome.
What it tracks: loot and drop rates, gold in and out, quests, kills and a bestiary, deaths (with who and what killed you), zones and distance traveled, flights, dungeon runs, professions, reputation, combat stats (biggest crits, overkill, close calls), repair bills, AFK time, emotes, and a timeline of your "firsts".
Highlights:
- Wrapped: a Spotify Wrapped-style recap of your week, month, year or all time. Top zone, favorite victim, biggest crit, busiest month, play-style persona ("The Hoarder", "The Martyr", "The Idler"…) and how it compares with the period before.
- Personal records: most kills in a day, longest without dying, rarest drop, priciest repair bill, and more, with a chat message when you beat one.
- Hall of Shame: every "Ability is not ready yet." counted and awarded a title like Button Masher or Hiding Behind Trees.
- Death log with epitaphs: "Here lies Diane, level 22. Lost a fair fight to Murloc Scout. Mostly fair."
Open it with /almanac, /dread or /da, or the minimap button.
