Is it immoral to rent out an inherited property

Hi again. I have a bit of a late-night dilemma. I'm aware that eventually (I pray for a very long eventually) I will inherit around 3 properties from my parents. Two of which are already being rented out, and the other one is the house I live in. I don't really plan on living in the country they are in after finishing school.

I have complicated feelings about landlords, and I know a lot of people think that it's inherently immoral to be a landlord. I know a large portion of it is because jerks buy up property, screwing over the housing market and letting regular people have trouble finding affordable housing.

Either way, I don't want to depart from these houses, especially the one I'm currently living in. The others were passed down to my parents or have been earned by them. Thus, cutting ties with them kind of hurts.

I'm sure there are other alternatives; I just don't know what.

I don't want to exploit people, and I have a slight plan on how to be fair and just. However, the general idea of Landlords can be a bit iffy.

This all probably sounds shallow and stupid. However, that's just the issue I was thinking of.

Is eating a tortured animal okay?

To keep this short, last night we were eating crab. After a bit I went inside the kitchen to find alive crabs that had there limbs removed, yet the crab was still alive. It was there for around an hour most likely in pain. I had to ask my parents to put it out of its misery, which they did.

Now I'm debating if I should eat the crabs. It's already dead, it feels like a waste to not eat it. However, is it wrong to eat a animal that has been tortured? To be honest, I do want to eat the crab, it's crab.... It taste good. Though at the same time, should my conscious be wounded if I do.
