Attending family wedding
My new BIL (my husbands younger brother) and wife work high paying government jobs making around $350k between them and all they gave at my tea ceremony was $200.
For my tea ceremony he said she wont be coming because they only have 1 car and we used his car as the wedding car. (Pretty sure she was able to borrow a car from her sister) Then on the day of the wedding he said she wont be attending the wedding reception at all because she now has a bad rash.
Then mid day he says she can attend and he has to go home and pick her up.
Sounds like an excuse for her not to attend the tea ceremony and reception right?
She arrives at my wedding looking totally normal with her mum unannounced and who was not on my guest list, vietnamese wedding we usually like to take pictures together with the guest for memories and her mum refused to take one with me.
His wife and mum gave an envelope with $100 upon arrival which didnt even cover the cost of the food for her mum.
Just a note: there is absolutely no tension between us prior.
