A neat little space of our own
Hey r/ADHDPH! 👋
It's been about 8 months or so since I first posted about this little project, and I'm genuinely happy to say, it took off.
What started as a small experiment, inspired by a single conversation with a fellow Redditor, has grown into a 200+ member community of Filipino ADHDers who just get it. No need to over-explain yourself. No awkward pauses when you go on a tangent. Just people who understand each other firsthand.
Since then, we've built out the server quite a bit:
📚 Resources with curated links, tips, and references for navigating ADHD in a Philippine context (yes, that means dealing with local doctors, stigma, and the very specific hell of Philippine bureaucracy with an executive function disorder)
💬 A chill, very supportive community where we talk about daily struggles, wins, hyperfocus rabbit holes, med questions, and everything in between.
🧠 Venting spaces for the days when you just need people who won't tell you to "just focus" or "just do it"
And while I'm talking about the server, I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one that has participated so far and made the community into what it is today. Your contributions has made a huge impact on what the vibe is and what our community is today. It wouldn't have been possible without you all. Thank you so much. I could not be more proud of what it has become right now. (Despite me being derailed and distracted by other things most of the time). So for the people that has been with us, and continues to be with us.

Moving forward from that small love letter, we're still a community that genuinely cares about keeping the vibe relaxed and low-pressure. No performance required. Come as you are.
