Help Desk # for MDM'd MacBook

Hello!

Hope yall are doing well, I recently got a 2020 MacBook off auction from Goodwill that had a completely wiped drive, but was alright otherwise. Has some sticker called Neocol on it but setup says its owned by IBM, phone number on the notice goes to a deactivated line of course (IBM-HELP?), and could not find its replacement anywhere as it seems to be behind intranet now :(

I figure since its at that 5 year mark + the wiped drive, that it was disposed of, then that garbage man took it to Goodwill since it worked lol, but since you never know with auctions figured I should get in contact with someone to confirm and get it off their MDM if so!

Sp to that end, I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to give me a good contact to see whether this laptop is stolen or if I could get it off the management list with Apple - appreciated in advance!

OH also: Tried the mobility line I found in another thread, but they only deal with iPhones and seem to be scoped out of laptops unfortunately

Guys... why do I feel like I am doing badge printing wrong?

Hello yall!

I am with an org where we recently migrated from prox/iCLASS fobs to SEOS badges w/ the Crescendo FIDO (so theyre delicate!) and have been printing employee ID on them in a... odd... way

Presently, we got by the migration by just getting some durable avery labels that were sized to the card, then I 3d-printed some templates with 6 slots the cards can sit in, and that cavity helps me align & stick on the label - these labels are also removable so that I am able to reuse my 30$ card (hey.. hey! DHS pays 70$ per and no FIDO just PKI!)

I am wondering if there exists an alternative to what feels like an 20th century solution on 21st century tech, or if this is really the best path forward? The main concern honestly is ensuring the badge is reusable

Appreciates yall's time, and hope its an awesome start to the week!

Edit: Appreciate the insight yall! Looks like best path forward is to print direct on some PVC then use lanyard to display that (or adhesive but I might be getting greedy with durability concerns...)
