Tell me something about your magic system(s)

Whenever i go into a new show or book, i spoil myself a bit by reading about a particular detail of that show/book: who/what has the most magical/mystical presence in that lore?

So here's my question to all of you special people; in your system(s), what is the:

living creature (human or non-human, but not deity), or
non-living object, or
place or location, or
natural phenomenon

that has the strongest magic?

What would you do..

..if you face an opponent who conjures a sword and say, "My sword can cut anything and everything i want. In return, i must reveal its three conditions - (1) i can only use it in battle i cannot win by myself, (2) i cannot deconjure the sword until either me or my opponent is defeated or admits defeat, and (3) for every live i take, i must repent and save three from death." The opponent then proceeded to literally cut anything and everything you throw at him and even yourself, regardless of how strong your defense was. What crosses your mind at this point? What would you do?

This is an exercise to help me adjust the ability further.
