How to recoup return shipping label costs from a buyer who missed return window

The title basically says it all. Had a sale (I knew was going to be difficult after I accepted an offer & he started asking 21 questions). Long story short, he got the item, claimed it had a bad smell (although he couldn’t describe it) & wanted to return it, so he opened up an INAD.

I immediately accepted the return & he never shipped it back. Yesterday, eBay closed the return, which released the money from the transaction they had been holding.

My question is- How do I recoup the cost of the shipping label the buyer never used?

Y’all ready to admit that PV has royally F’d up this offseason?

Play hardball long enough & you eventually get burned. It’s one thing to let FAs walk & not sign anyone, it’s another to put yourself (and this franchise) in this position with your franchise player when it was completely avoidable.

One season of getting to the playoffs & winning a series doesn’t excuse this disaster class.

That’s all. Downvote me into oblivion now.

Schedule an in-home euthanasia for Thursday.

Struggling To Stay Objective Regarding Scheduled Euthanasia On Thursday .

(Picture from last year)

Unfortunately I’m coming to you all for a second (objective) opinion on our senior Doberman. He’s currently 11, maybe 12 years old & we’ve had him for 3 years. We scheduled an at-home euthanasia & although I know it’s time, the last few days I’ve been struggling with the worry that it’s “too soon”.

About a year ago, he started showing early signs of dementia. Both my wife & I have had dogs that eventually passed on from it. We always promised to not wait too long & up until about a month ago, we felt confident we were doing the right thing.

Over the last few months, he’s started “sundowning”. It started by him just getting lost in the yard, but over the last few weeks, he’s becoming more restless at night. Not just when the sun goes down but around 6:30-7:00pm nightly.

We started giving him prescribed Trazodone, which seemed to help him quite a bit. Lately, when he starts becoming restless. He just whines and/or barks every 15 minutes for about 5 minutes at a time. Hes always switched off between sleeping in our room & on the couch but lately, the only place he’ll settle for the night is on the couch.

While I would still classify him as mobile, he’s been getting more winded coming up stairs & his balance, especially on the hardwood has not been great. He’s also started slipping & falling multiple times per day & is not overly stable, even outside on the grass.

Long story short, it feels like it’s time but of course, being in the situation, there’s always the question of “are we doing it too early?”. During the day, he’s pretty OK most of the time but every night around the same time, he goes downhill in a hurry. He still knows his name but his anxiety has become much worse.

With all of that being said, I would like to get some outside perspective/objective opinions from you all.

Thank you.
