Watched McBee Dynasty the other night and noticed Kristi McBee with a bruise on her jaw—which was also missing the jowl seen earlier in the episode. Tonight on WWHL I see that Emily Simpson from RHOC has a bruise on her jaw! Genuine question: Is there a Botox treatment for jowls? Would it leave a bruise like that on the jaw? Maybe more importantly, why would the bruise not be covered up with makeup?
Perhaps to their detriment, Bravo has ITC on such a loop that I’m watching it *again* and easily notice what were subtle nuances, undercurrents missed on the first couple go ‘rounds.
Except for Kyle, who is a 10-year-veteran from SH and imo does a great job of carrying himself very organically, this ‘cast’ is awful. Maybe that’s the problem, they all come off as a cast, and very forced. They don’t vibe as a group and they’re “acting” as if they do. I’ve never been a big fan of Lindsey but man she is just laying it on THICK! She is so over produced, she dramatizes or emphasizes everything and after all these years she has the same tired schtick. And idk if it’s her new veneers or what, but she’s got some sort of lisp or speech issue that is unnatural compared to all her prior years on SH, listening to her irritates the shit outta me more than ever. Her friends are kinda lame, but she tries to sell them like they’re baddies with babies. Georgina tryna be a kooky, funny, working single mom falls so flat, she thinks she’s clever but she sounds weak. Yvonne isn’t any better, she’s so unnoticeable, doesn’t have much to add and is so forgettable—her own husband didn’t notice her missing for days! Amanda, acting like she’s on the come up, HA! No explanation necessary here.
I can’t even go on about the rest of them, their ensemble cast is so bloated with hollow characters, they must’ve recognized they needed a HUGE cast to try to carry the show since individually they’re all pretty uninteresting and kinda boring. They can’t hide that the show was a crossover for Lindsey & Turner Gemma, Kyle & Amanda whose ‘grown-up’ relationships hardly made it to the premiere! Honestly, I can’t imagine following ITC after the SH final reunion drops. There’s so much more ‘interesting’ trash on tv, ITC is *not* it. Rant over. 🕊️
