OC 14x12 'Fashion Faux Pas' boat manager is a hugely underrated moment

I completely forgot about this scene and omg was I living.

I assume this woman was manager of the boat or something that Braunwyns daughters fashion show was on? She really said (internally) "you want to be a Real Housewife? Imma show you what a Real housewife is like"

I was shocked all over again

thoughts on shannon??

Currently on S12 of my first watch through, and I’m just wondering what other people make of Shannon. I’m finding her quite insufferable atm, always complaining, emotional, negative etc.
I completely understand that David’s affair(s) had such a deep impact on her, but she just seems so difficult to be around and it’s clearly seeping into all of her other relationships. I find it quite difficult to enjoy watching. Like, she just acted so unreasonably towards Lydia who she just met (at Tamra’s granddaughter’s birthday party).
I guess I’m asking if it gets better regarding her, because she seemed like she could be some fun on her first season.

Archie will be missed 🙁

Years ago I had an exhibit in Brooklyn of Housewives dogs that I had painted. One of them was Archie. He hangs on my wall so I see him every day and I was so sad to hear he is gone. It was always a treat to see him and I can only imagine how sad Shannon and her

Season 11 Kelly

First time watch through and I’m on season 11 - appreciate there’s probably awful stuff Kelly does later on (every time I’ve rooted for a housewife I inevitably get proven wrong at some point - I loved Gretchen Rossi and Jennifer Aydin at first, gah) but I do feel the way Heather, Tamra and Shannon orchestrate the slow, war of attrition like attack on Kelly in Ireland, and the way Vicki jumps on is diabolical and cruel. Kelly is so wrong for what she does and says in the van on the way to the airport, and nobody forces her to escalate and say the things she does, but I can’t help but feel some sympathy for the way the other girls are trying to provoke her. Heather sitting there with that smile on her face gaslighting her the way she did Shannon in season 9… it feels evil and icky. Hope the mean girl clique get disbanded at some point. They are all horrid.

And I just feel kinda sorry for Meghan Edmond’s she’s just a bit boring and her husband doesn’t like her and it’s hard to watch.

Should I feel sorry for Kelly or not?

What is up with the earlier seasons??

Especially the first couple of seasons, they’re so dark?? Knowing that a lot of the housewives kids either ended up dead or strung out and homeless is so sad. Something about the earlier seasons just gives trailer park, Tammy Knickerbocker was one of the richest women on the show but her life and the way she was portrayed just seems so….trashy?? Who even was that Duff guy? Even the other women seemingly were just letting their kids go whatever. Hate on Vicki all you want but she’s one of the only ones that had a handle on her children. Was OC really that bad back in the day, or am I just judging it off of the glitz and glam of the other franchises?

Friend loves drama and wants to watch the ''THAT'S MY OPINION'' season

but for that you need context from previous seasons no? when Brooks joins, so is there lots of drama in S7 or S8? I know S9-11 are crazy regarding drama with cancer gate

How is Lindsey Knickerbocker doing?

Anyone know how she is? Is she with family? Is she doing well?
I couldn’t find anything about her beyond her going missing

The casting of Jo?

I’m finishing season 2, I get why they casted Jo but I also don’t… she is so different than the other women, and so much younger, she doesn’t fit the role of a housewife at all. I know they were piloting a lot of things but I just feel like she didn’t make sense for the cast at all.

What do yall think

Can someone explain why Gina and Emily are still on RHOC

Is there a fan base out there for them? I stopped watching midway through their first season, they are both so boring and don’t fit the OC vibe. Emily is ok but Gina is insufferable 😩 I’m doing a rewatch and i literally have to fast forward through any scene Gina is in. How did they make it so long? I think that’s why casting is bringing back old members, hoping to revive it. I also should mention I love the tres amigas and it shows how much personality they have to carry the show the way they did. Yes they have questionable morals, but I watch this show for entertainment and you can’t pull your eyes away from the screen when they’re on!

Lizzie is a horrible friend of

Doing a rewatch of OC and I generally liked Lizzie as a housewife but she is driving me insane as a friend of. Her defending of Shannon and Vicki is soooo annoying like girl they literally tried to jump you last year…

We could’ve had Lacy (from The Valley) on RHOC?!

You mean to tell me that we could’ve had Lacy Nicole, with her real wealth, luxury fashion, combativeness, authenticity, quirks ( like being a doomsday prepper), etc… and instead they chose Dr. Jen and Katie, kept Emily and Gina for years, and brought back Tamra and Alexis?! Those show runners should be fired. The show has been terrible for seasons and its castings fault!

This is not to say Lacy is some amazing person, and we’ve only seen her in a few episodes, but she could’ve actually brought some dimension and interesting friends.

Who would win: TFP or Vicki Gunvalson?

A lighthearted post to distract from everything going on re Taylor's mental health. I'm watching rhoc right now and see Vicki as the Taylor of that show in the sense of being the OG member of the show. But obviously they are very different people! So for people who are familiar with Vicki Scumvalson, give your answers below of who would win in an argument and why
