Just a cute thought I had, but I think it would be really sweet if the devs could implement certain animations for the mammal species to have unique parent and baby interactions.
I understand that it's easier suggested than actually done, but if perhaps the devs choose to include more animations/social behaviors, I'd love to see maybe 1 or more of these possible ideas:
1. Babies nursing from their mothers (Zoo tycoon 2 actually has this for some of the animals, which I've never seen in any other zoo builder!). This does not mean making babies reliant on their parents solely for food, but it can boost their welfare and make it feel more essential to give babies parental figures.
Imagine mother smilodons, panthera, or ursus laying down and sometimes their babies can walk over and nurse from them if they're hungry enough (so the feeders are /optional/ if the babies choose).
Also of course other species, such as Megaloceros fawns for instance, could nurse from their mothers while standing, perhaps while their mother is browsing, drinking, or eating from a food spot.
3. Babies trying to "play" with their parents (I know this could be done for other species, too, but I'm keeping it mammal limited for convenience atm). I know we already have lovely "chase" play animations for babies and some adult species. But It would be neat if there was an option for babies to initiate (or try to initiate) play with their parents.
This could maybe be seen more-so in the carnivorous mammals, since we know baby predators LOVE to be little rascals and try to wrestle with their parents sometimes.
Now due to the animation constraints, I think a possible way to represent this idea would go like this: A baby can go up to its parent and "attack" it, with noticeable reaction from the parent (maybe a noise or a flinch). The baby would then run away a limited distance like it's just done something mischievous, or the parent can give it a short, harmless chase-away before resuming normal activities.

I'm not gonna make a super long list for this, as i know many ideas would not be "easy" ones. I understand the dev team is working very hard, and there will always be things they simply can't do (understandably, animation, coding, etc. is tough work!).
But if they come around to wanting to add extra things like this, these are just some ideas that I feel could add extra life to our beloved animals 💙
Random thought that could make a cute addition to vivariums, if we ever get more vivarium species: Shuvuuia is a pretty underrated little desert species that I never see talked about (I only remember seeing it in an older Dinosaur Planet documentary, but those are dated now of course).
Based on online research, It's a little hard to find very much information about how they'd look, but I see multiple sources claim that Shuvuuia had bird-like resemblances with long legs and a feathered coat thanks to fossil studies (And its name was actually derived from the Mongolian word "shuvuu" which means "bird").
And another fun fact: Unlike any other non-avian therapod, It's theorized that Shuvuuia could actually perform prokinesis (the ability to move its upper jaw independently from its brain case), like birds in our world do today!
I'd just really love to see how a game like Prehistoric Kingdom could represent underrated dinosaurs like this. It would be neat to bring more attention to them 💙
So I had a bug moment where a newly made paraceratherium enclosure randomly told me that the ones I have escaped.
I replaced the fences to see if maybe it was a simple error (I had the required fence security, but I buffed it to a higher one for good measure), and it still didn't change anything.
I decided to reload my save to see if maybe rejoining the game would do anything, and suddenly the game keeps telling me that ALL of my animals escaped, even though their enclosures are entirely intact and the animals have not left their enclosures.
But It really caught me off guard and I'm pretty unhappy because it's doing a big negative to my park's stats and I'd hate to have to re-do all my progress.
I really hope this bug gets fixed ):
