Help me with using this name correctly

Okay so I'm doing some creative writing. It'll turn into a self-published work one day, with any luck.

Anyway, I'm about to do a massive edit of my manuscript and I want to get this right.

My main characters nickname is Vicious, and it's what she's called in 90% of the book. The book is written in third person, so she's referenced often. WHAT is the correct way to write it when it comes to her "ownership" (sorry if I'm explaining that horribly)?

For example, "An odd thought crosses Vicious’ mind." Is that " ' " in the right spot? Should I do something else completely?

Any help would be appreciated

Flocking Birds Circling Together In The Morning?

Location: Wollongong, NSW Australia

I see these birds flocking like this almost every morning on my way to work. What are they and why are they doing this? Is it a hunting strategy, or courtship display perhaps?

Gothice romances but... happy in the end?

This might be a dumb prompt 😭 But I just watched Crimson Peak and even though the vibes were IMMACULATE, it made me want to watch a gothic romance where there's a solid romantic couple (any genders) to root for and they get a happy ending. That might not work in the gothic genre but I thought I'd ask? See if anything's out there?
