So the Government is changing the names of these areas but I only knew of the names on the right.

I am confused. I thought the new names were always in use. Am I the only one who didn't get the memo on the Islamic/Pakistani names for these areas. I didn't know Jail Road was called Allama Iqbal Road. Never knew Dharampura was Mustafabad. Same for Lakshmi Chowk, Queens Road and Jain Mandir. I knew Bagh e Jinnah had an alternate name. What are they doing?
