Food - forget to eat or get FOMO

Food is a weird one for me. I came off contraception about 9 months ago and it massively made my ADHD symptoms stronger. Whatever hormone was in it, almost masked my ADHD.

Anyways, I have either:

  1. Forget to eat lunch and get distracted, forget, then get really bad food paralysis and can't decide to eat anything, so give up and have a snack. It's the same for tea time. If I don't fancy the 5 meals I planned for the week, I have to force myself to choose something and I don't enjoy it. I also forget that I'm 'hungry' and just start to get hangry or lightheaded.

  2. Get realllyy bad food fomo. My god. Someone has a tasty burger? I want it. New snack available that looks delicious, yep, want that! New food at the shops that looks yummy? Yep. Get in my belly. And it's terrible in buffets at parties. I get anxiety if I can't get up and get what I want. I'm not a large person, I just get annoyed if I miss out and someone else gets it. It's also really bad if I have to choose a flavour. WHY CAN'T I TRY THEM ALL?!

  3. My dopamine food right now is Cadbury caramel eggs. I keep nipping to the shop down the road to buy their last lot of Easter stuff.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help?
