Hi all,

Been reading some litrpg and prog fantasy recently and finally figured out one of the main themes from the books I enjoy most of all.

I’m not really into MCs seeking power just for power’s sake, and always desperate to fight the next big thing. This is pretty much HWFWM, Primal Hunter, Azarinth Healer, etc.

No, what I really enjoy are the more classic I have to get strong to protect something important, my family, my land, etc. examples of this for me are Calamitous Bob, Cradle, DCC.

So can anyone recommend me some series in the vein of this? I’d be grateful!

My wife and I are moving to Salem in about a a month and are looking to connect with other families with young children. We’ve tried Facebook but couldn’t really find anything there. Are there any family ground online we could use to make In person connections?
