Hi everyone, I’m from Ontario and just got my structural license last week. I was hoping to start in pest control this season, but I’m also very close to getting offered a different summer job right now.

I have no prior pest control experience, so I’m wondering how hiring usually works in this industry. Is there a main hiring season, or are companies hiring year-round? If I take this other summer job, would I basically have to wait until next spring to realistically get into pest control, or are there still decent opportunities later in the year?
