I noticed yesterday evening that the cantilever seemed slightly bent (off to the left when looking at the cartridge straight on) and off centre.

The tone arm has not undergone any strenuous activity or been dropped to justify this and I have followed the balance and tracking advice for this cartridge and stylus down to a tee. It’s probably had an estimated total playing time of around 20-25 hours since purchase.

Any advice/thoughts? I have done some research on this and there is advice to not play any vinyl if the cantilever is bent in anyway as it can cause permanent damage to record grooves. This also appears to be a common issue with this stylus. I’ve contacted the company I purchased this from as well.
