The anime completely messed up Rashta's design...
Even if it's been a while since I'd read Remarried Empress, one of Rashta's most defining features was her strikingly silver hair. Her beauty was made to oppose Navier's, often compared to a "beautiful wildflower" despite the circumstances of her past, so to disregard that in her design completely sidelines an important aspect of her character, as well as her development.
I vividly remember that scene where she and Navier had both worn red gowns at the ball. It was a pivotal moment, signifying the rising tensions between the two as Rashta slowly rose to power. What started out as an innocent, moonlight beauty begins to evolve into a grandiose display of extravagance. You could say that while Rashta was forged in silver, Navier was refined in gold. A diamond in the rough, so to speak. IIRC, I believe this sentiment was also why Souvishou was so protective of Rashta? But I digress. We lose such an integral part of why she feels like such a threat to Navier's position as an empress, as well as what makes her such a compelling character. Her beauty is meant to conflict with her actions.
Anyway. Given what I've also heard about the director's past works being poor adaptations, I don't have much hope, y'all... This was one of the first stories I had reading on Webtoon too, so I'm a bit disappointed.
TLDR; Rashta's redesign in the anime completely disregards a major part of her character in the novel and the webtoon.
