Let me tell you a story. 3 siblings, well provided by their parents, went to the same school, given the same opportunities. 2 girls got married, 1 by her own choice and had a court wedding and the other one had a arrange marriage where parents paid. Now coming to the youngest, a son, has not taken any responsibility. Parents pay for all household expenses, mother cooks and does all other household chores, even getting everything fixed in the house. Parents are also paying for the newly constructed house for the son which will cost them 70lacs and then his wedding which might cost them another 20-30 lacs. Plus he will receive an inheritance of upwards of 5 crores. Still I see only victimisation from this boy, blackmailing parents that they haven’t done enough for him. I get the parents are not faultless, they are controlling and the father is a grade A asshole (he is bipolar) but i think it is high-time that this boy gets over himself. And he is my brother and i am just tired of this constant victimisation from both my father and my brother that it is actually affecting my mom, my sister and I. Has anyone dealt with an immature thankless sibling, how do you cope?
