Ever since Steak ’n Shake started putting those obnoxiously huge American flags over all their stores to appeal to the MAGA crowd, I literally can’t bring myself to go inside or order their food.

And that’s saying something because I actually like Steak ’n Shake.

There’s something about the whole “LOOK HOW PATRIOTIC/MAGA WE ARE” display that just gives me an immediate feeling of revulsion.

I’m curious — am I the only one? Has anyone else had the same reaction and found themselves avoiding Steak ’n Shake because of the new flags/political lean?

Calling all theatre nerds…

I’m not really a merch person. I’m not the type to leave the theater wearing the hoodie, carrying the tote bag, drinking from the commemorative tumbler, and making monthly payments on the limited edition snow globe.

My system is pretty simple:
🎭 If I’ve seen a Broadway show twice, it earns a magnet. (Current club members: Hadestown and Oh, Mary!)

I’ve accumulated a few T-shirts, a couple hats… and my pride and joy is a wall in my Kentucky house covered with 51 New York Playbills.

But then I saw Jellicle Ball… and, y’all, I bought the fan.

Now I actually want to display it instead of shoving it in a drawer like every other impulse purchase.

Show me your display ideas! Bonus points for photos from your own theatre shrine. Help a Kentucky Broadway geek out before I accidentally frame it next to my air fryer.
