Transcontinental & Transatlantic travel?
My mother is elderly, and becoming more frail. I currently live outside of the country for work reasons, and can’t/won’t go back for a while. She’s never gotten to see much of the world, and I’d love to show her some of my nearby area. What’s the best way (if there is one) to get an elderly woman with falling issues from the West Coast of the US to France/Germany? She’d have a caretaker with her and would be using a wheelchair at least part of the time.
My initial thoughts include trains or cruises - I don’t think a plane would be suitable. Trains might be dodgy due to movement; are cruises like that as well or could she probably manage on the trip?
