Are we being reasonable
This is the template from our fabricator. They want us to sign off and we made the changes as you can see from the hand writing. The countertop fabricator insists that the seam is regularly at the sink. We are purchasing two slabs that we have already picked out. They are waiting for our approval and we are adamant not to have the seams at the sink where they will attract more dirt than the places where we have requested the seams. The fabricator is fighting us, but we are standing firm. Will plan to discuss again tomorrow morning.
A bit of background: we did purchase from Lowe’s, so worst case, I will go back to Lowe’s and tell them the issues we are having. Curious if others think our seams are unreasonable? I mean, we know why we want them there and it works for us. Does it make it difficult to install? After we can agree on the seams, we are planning to pay for the digital layout to match up the grain. We just seem stuck at this point.
