Car situation. Need advice
Hey Reddit I’m in a tough situation
I got a model 3 Tesla I’m upside down pretty good. I rolled in 6k of negative equity when I bought it. My payments are 600 and 28k left on the loan. I’ve had it for 2 years and realized I don’t want car payments anymore. I have an older accord available and would drive that once this Tesla. I have good credit and make upper middle class salary. I see a few options and if you see any other LMK! I know I played myself with this car already. Bad choice and it happens 🤷♂️
Keep car- I think it’s a 8 or 9 percent apr. pay off 4 1/2 years from now
Refinance car with credit union, checked today with 5k down/48 month at 6% payment are 500 a month
Sell it, pull the difference out of previous employer account/the money in there gets 6% annual and haven’t touched it so far ( account holds 100k)
Sell it, pull the difference with a loan from my 401k right now through current employer
I checked caravana its worth 15k so 13k 🤯🥲 I’m ready to bite the bullet or keep it and live negative for a bit. I know it wasn’t a good choice so be nice plz 🤣👍 let me know if I missed anything!
