For any parents or educators in Columbia—

Does anyone have any insight or information on Cedar Ridge Elementary? This is the school we’re zoned for, but I’m concerned about how low it’s ranked in the state for testing, etc. I can’t find any real, first hand information from people who have children that go there. Right now, I don’t feel amazing about sending my kindergartener there next August. The most important thing is making sure she’s safe and among decent, nice kids.

With that said, we’re considering lottery schools. Does anyone know the likelihood of getting into a lottery elementary school here in Columbia?
