Hi! I have to commit soon like ASAP, and I’m really torn between these two schools. I’d really appreciate any advice or insight.
Here’s a bit of context:
UTampa gave me a significant scholarship, so I’d be paying over $2k less per year there. I didn’t make the USF SAT merit scholarship cutoff, so I’d be paying full out-of-state tuition, making it slightly more expensive than UTampa.
I’ve visited both campuses. I originally wrote off USF after a previous visit, but this time I didn’t mind it and actually liked the larger size. I also thought UTampa’s campus was beautiful.
I don’t have guaranteed housing at either school...USF is definitely waitlisted (could maybe get in at the ST.Petes campus but only 1,000 people living on campus seems to small for me) , and I’m unsure about UTampa.
I’ve heard mixed things about UTampa’s health programs/academics in general , so I’m also wondering which school would be better for BUSINESS. I’ve always been a dedicated student, but I still want to have fun and don’t want to sacrifice one for the other.
