MP5SD builds!

Hi,

I am getting an ap5SD converted right now and was hoping i could get build recommendations.

If you have one, I’d love to see your build and what you’re rocking! I want to make it look at cool as possible.

Hi,

I am looking to get the AP5SD in order to put either the BT SD barrel or the rim county barrel in. I understand that it’s very difficult and I don’t have hydraulic presses so where would I get this done? who would I call? I am in Naples Florida if you know of anyone locally, but if I were to ship it out, where would I do that?

Lastly, if I stick with the regular barrel, is it a simple threaded replacement? I haven’t bought anything yet, but drilling out costs.

Any advice would be invaluable!

Hi, I have a 20 gallon jungle style tank with about 25+ duckies. I placed them all in and immediately one mama had babies. I left for two weeks and when I came back I noticed all of the adults plus some smaller juveniles around curious and walking about. However, I think I over watered it because I had plant melt on a few of my plants, others were fine. when I first placed the isopods in, I could dig around see them and they were visible. Now, I hardly see any which is surprising since I saw 20 babies born. now, I have found a few dead isopods, one was extremely pink which was odd, another was just a dried body that crumbled (not molt) and between those, I found some isopods curled tightly, and then there were the normal ones that would walk around and I could dig around and find.

I am a bit confused because ive crashed a tank where they all turn pink, however, I have never seen an array of different deaths and lack of presence as well as presence of other juveniles and adults.

Lastly, today I found a false widow that I hadn’t seen before, maybe the isopods were eaten by her but she was quite small. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

the little black/gray spots you see are springtails. They move around like temperate springtails and there are orange ones in there, i was surprised to look and see that those are indeed springtails and not mold.

do they eventually turn orange? I’ve always seen them start as white as a juvenile and then become orange later.

i have also bred a successful colony so far with these so this is the second time around.
