Strange monitor Issue
I have an old View Sonic monitor and I'm using a dva adapter to connect it to my pc, it was working fine yesterday but when I got up today it weirdly come's on shows my desktop and after a few seconds to about a minute the screen goes black, changing the port, restarting, using a different cable and reinstalling graphics drivers hasn't fixed it. But the weird thing is the display is still on as though it's working normally I can move windows over to it and other things, it's just black, I tried the light method to see if the backlight was dead but it isn't that. Weirdly enough changing the resolution on the monitor blinks the screen back on again for about a minute and then it goes black again. The monitor doesn't turn off it just goes black...
My question is what else can I do to troubleshoot this issue, cause the monitor works, it just goes black after about a minute, if anyone knows what could be the problem and how I could fix it, I would appreciate it.
