I’ve been soldering for about a year now casually so the solder joints could definitely use some improvement… luckily the booth went decently well! the novelty of sliding the battery between the 2 support stems to activate the filament LED probably helped. To make the isocahedron I cut and stuck brass wire to a 3D print with grooves on the edges, then applied flux paste and 63/37 Hirosaki solder, and cleaned with a bunch of 99.9% IPA. Should have thought of it sooner but I also started to grind down the bigger chunkier joints with a dremel. Also I definitely need to upgrade from my $15 iron…
