Just had a mythic one drop. Thinking about doing a ballista pen shot poison build with it, but I was curious if there's any known builds it's decent on?

What am I missing with this aspect? It seems to me like its a consistent and free huge multiplier, but don't see any guides that use it.

Does it not work the way I think it does?
