Pen Shot best damage multiplier

Hello,

I'm building pen shot cold imbuement rogue and I am not sure about the best dmg modifier to look for.

Lets take crit and vuln multi out of the equasion, as they are in totally different bucket of modifiers.

I'm using cold imbuement all the time, as the cooldown is shorter than duration. Pen shot also has Shade tag, so should i look for cold damage multi, shadow damage multi or all damage multi to get the best results? Or maybe it doesnt matter and any mix of them will yield the same result?

Cheers

Advice about Etnas lost dagger

Iv gone cold pen shot, always enjoyed the theme so glad it’s good this season. I’m thinking of replacing my sword that has the damage after ultimate aspect with Etnas. What’s the best way of applying the other non-physical damage source do you guys think? Still looking for a good one with them being rare but my only idea so far is to temper a lucky hit non-physical damage on the dagger itself, iv got a pretty high lucky hit chance anyway for resource recovery. Any better ideas welcome thanks.

Kullean prism amulet question please

I have seen some builds online that have either mending obscurity or biting cold as the rolled aspect however I have also seen some lists of possible rolls and those 2 aren’t on the list can anyone confirm if either of them can indeed be rolled using Kullean transfig

Thanks

Who else is playing Dance of Knives T10 + ?

Hello my D4 enjoyers,

I created a rogue and I'm currently playing in T10 a Dance of Knives build (really relaxing and smooth) but I havn't met an other rogue playing this build.

https://maxroll.gg/d4/build-guides/dance-of-knives-rogue-guide

My question among you having this build, what are your damages in T10 with endgame stuff ? Are we close to a barb / warlock ?

I am currently building my endgame stuff and I'm questionning myself if this build would be viable for pit 120+ ?

Lack of Ancestral Legendaries

What am I doing wrong? I know there’s a decreased drop rate for ALs this season but I’m running Tier7 and Level 215 and I still don’t have a full set of legendary items and haven’t salvaged any. I’m keeping what I have found just to complete the task of donning a full set of legendary items. WTH?

Damage Inheritance

Does anyone know how Arrow Storms proc’d by a Skill cast are categorized by the system?

I want to know which buffs to avoid if they’re not actually providing the buff to the system I actually care about. I’m using the Arrow Storm-generating variants of Forceful Arrow and Barrage but what I care about is what will enhance the 12 physical damage ticks that come from the Arrow Storm.

I feel like it’s pretty clear that buffs to the following categories would then buff the generated Arrow Storms (Arrow Storm Damage really can’t be anything else so that one is a given):
• Physical Damage
• Damage to Vulnerable
• Damage to Crowd Controlled
• Damage to Incapacitated
• Damage to Healthy
• Damage to Injured
• Damage to Trapped
• (basically anything that counts as damage to state)

What I’m unsure of is whether buffs to Core/ Basic Skills and Marksman Skills carry to the Arrow Storms those Skills generate. I suppose Arrow Storms could be considered their own category outside the triggering Skill - but I can definitely see the sense in an AS being considered a Marksman event for obvious reasons. I could argue that they should be tied to the Skill class that triggered them; but still think that’s the most unlikely category. Although, my guess is that concept may confuse people if they’re conflating the Arrow Storm them with their triggering Skill.

If anyone thinks they have this information absolutely figured out, or if I’m missing some important facets in my question I’d appreciate having your knowledge imparted.

Question with poison

Greetings wanderers

So I been using a flurry poison imbuement with caltrops poison, self build and right now I am in T8 doing fine but think I need to be more selective for what's ahead on the path and have a question related to the different poison stuff, so we have damage over time, poison damage, poisoning damage, potency and think there is one or two more poison related stuff in the glyphs (glyph are in low lv ATM), I have an idea of them but what are the differences and which one should have the focus?

Haven't found recent info about it so not sure if the old info is up to date, thanks in advance wanderer.

Melee Rogue Build?

Was wondering if there’s any solid melee rogue builds that can comfortably run in T12 & pit 100+? I’m not into the ranger/archer archetype but enjoy the rogue aesthetic.

Currently running DT mid game build at T11 but it’s a hassle to scale due to the multiple breakpoints that you have to keep up with.

I’ve been trying to roll my rogue out but I seem to be having an issue.

I’ve got most of the penetrating shot build down, but I must be missing an interaction. My fire rate is unbearably slow. Has anyone else had this issue?

How to upkeep cold imbuement in boss fights?

Im running the Maxroll Penshot build by Mattias, I can do tier 12 activities comfortably but play on tier 11. When doing boss fights on tier 11+ I have trouble upkeeping my cold imbuement because I cannot proc chill on bosses enough, which is the only way to reduce my cooldown via perk skills. I have some cooldown reduction affixes but i general it is quite inconsistent and im typically about 60/40 on cold upkeep. how are you guys managing it? any tips would be appreciated.

How much did I lose out on by not chasing the last 2%? Is it still good even though it's a dagger and not a sword?

For reference I'm playing a Dance of Knives build pulled from this guide. The main hand weapon calls for a sword, but I wasn't sure if it mattered compared to a dagger and the damage per second was higher compared to the sword I had been using before.

Overpower Stack bug? From 4 to 8

I have just started with the Rogue and think the visualization of overpower from Maximum 4 (Standard) to a new Cap of 8 (only if triggered by a precision skill, I know) with shown Item is bugged. I have read several Posts of this kind (Buff-bar with bugs) but i‘d Like to know if anyone Else has the correct visuals or the same bug.
