Started on paladin. Didn’t enjoy. Switched to a rogue— leveled to 70 and have around 80 paragon.

Leveled blade of knives

Crafted 2 bow uniques. Got a wind force and the one that rain of arrows.

What is a good starter build to build up the necessary items pushing into t10 so that I can gather what I need?

Do I keep rolling boys and hope to go to pen arrow with Eaglehorn?

Do I stay in T1 and try to get High torments with blade of knives? I’m just looking for opinions on smooth transitions. I’ve played early seasons of d4 but Im trying to do all content now with rogue. Softcore.

So I've pretty much hit a brick wall at Torment 10. I can't kill Mephisto to unlock Rank 9 for the season. Using a Dance of Knives build and I have no issue with any T10 content or any of the older bosses but as soon as I try Mephisto I can't even make it past phase one.

Is there currently a better build for bossing?

Siphoning Strikes has up to a 65% chance to heal 3% max hp on lucky hit with cutthroat Skills. Undying aspect heals 3% hp per Skill cast.

Im running poison twisting blades and doesnt undying guarantee Hp back since im spamming core. Why would i go siphoning over undying? Idk if im missing something any input is appreciated!

I noticed there are two variants for this build: Cold and Poison. Personally, I prefer Cold, and I already played a Poison Spiritborn last season... I wanted to know if there’s a huge difference between the two in the endgame and the Pit, or if both can handle the content with equal ease?

As per the post I'm trying a dok build with cold imbuement. I'm able to get up to T4 and freezing enemies with the help of azurewrath. It's absolutely fun!

Is this viable for higher difficulties and any specific gear I would need to target? The issue I'm running into is that bosses don't get frozen and the chill damage is basically pointless in that scenario.

Oh and I don't have the dlcs so no talismans and cube stuff.

Why dont we use it? It looks like a hefty damage buff

Wondering if anyone has gotten Rapid Fire to T12?

I've mainly been farming on DoK since season start and can comfortably farm at T12, but was thinking of transitioning to RF (maxroll guide version) since it's a build I've never tried before.

I'm assuming it's gonna be slower than DoK for farming, but was wondering just how much slower it would be.

Would appreciate any response!

So I’m following the mobalytics guide. I’m missing maybe three aspects. The rings and chest. But I start my spinning. And I’m not winning as I seem to have resource issues. I was doing fine with yellows but now it’s gone to crap

Any ideas before I roll a Barb like last season zzzz

I also got this drop and not sure what to reroll between resource regen and impairment. Does resource regen get in the way of preparation and spending resources? If not then I should reroll impairment for life/cooldown?

As I'm slowly gearing up for T12 this season, I'm playing DoK while gathering pieces for a Rain of Arrows and Death Trap build.

I've mostly been using M1PY's build on mobalytics, but I've also been looking at the maxroll build for some differences that I could find for skills or when I'm down on my luck and have alternatives for aspects to use.

I've noticed a few key differences, and it leaves me unsure of what to use.

• M1PY's build uses Shadow Clone, but Avarilyn's build doesn't. I'm assuming that this is because the Preparation specialization is used in M1PY's build, but the proc for Inner Sight isn't consistent so it's not worth the minute cooldown? Even with the cooldown, the damage from Shadow Clone feels pretty high.
• M1PY's build for Concealment uses Resolve, while Avarilyn's build uses Energy. I'm guessing that Resolve is good for later Torments for survivability, but wouldn't the energy gain from Concealment help with the energy issues from using Preparation?
• Asheara's Khanjar is recommended to be used earlier on in the season with M1PY's build, while Avarilyn recommends using a Legendary weapon until Asheara's is upgraded to a Mythic piece. Is it that big of a difference, or is this a situation where I should use one vs. the other depending on how good my rolls are between the two weapons?
• M1PY's build uses Cir+Vex, and Avarilyn's build uses Neo+Ner. I'm unsure of what to use, the extra skills ranks feel nice, but couldn't the extra procs of Concealment also help with the energy management when using Shadow Clone and Preparation?
• M1PY's build uses the Efficacy glyph, and Avarilyn's build uses the Devious glyph. The placements of the glyphs are also pretty different, and I'm unsure of how to figure out how one placement might feel better than another.

This post is super extra, I'm sorry 😭 I'm pretty new to Diablo 4 and these questions also sort of act as meta questions because overall I have a really difficult time trying to figure out what might feel better or do more damage than the other because ultimately, things die really quickly and it's hard for me to notice what might be dying quicker in the moment of things.

For some reason, hard-casting Heartseeker seems to be doing orders of magnitude more damage than the version automatically cast via Dance of Knives with Nilfur's Narrow Eye 5pc set bonus.

There has to be some sort of interaction here that I'm missing. I am keeping vengeance at 5 stacks, all my buffs/etc are the same.

I can't figure out what the problem is. The only two things I can think of is that there's some issue with Paingorger's Gauntlet that doesn't work unless Heartseeker is manually cast.

The other idea I had is that Heartseekers fired by Dance of Knives are using the daggers stats instead of the bows stats, and my daggers are massively weaker than my bow.

Any ideas?

Just had a mythic one drop. Thinking about doing a ballista pen shot poison build with it, but I was curious if there's any known builds it's decent on?

I’ve gambled over 500 rings. Almost every ring aspect. Still none dropped naturally.

Im transitioning to Endgame (just entered T10 and I noticed the end game builds of many Penshot guides even those of the same type (Poison as an example) are a bit different. Out of curiosity which build is everyone using for endgame?

Im kinda feeling that the Mattias Maxroll one looks a bit better but I am curious on what everyone esp those with more experience else thinks?

Hey all! Playing rogue for the first time this season. Currently P120ish and running T6-7. I think I am missing maybe one aspect from the DoK leveling guide. Mixing my gear between the “starter” and the “mid game” variants.

My biggest issue right now is energy management and running out mid fight. I guess I don’t understand where energy regen comes from aside from gear affixes, and maybe it’s something I haven’t unlocked yet (working on the 5th paragon board). I don’t have all the correct gear affixes yet so that is another potential issue.

Is there anything big I’m missing?
