We just bought an ex landlord house. Guy had it since 1995 and did virtually nothing to it. What he did do, he did himself and he did it poorly. Here's cracked 40+ year old plaster, blowing out around a window due to damp. Replaster? Nah mate, tape that right up, paint right over it. Good as new.

Also this house at one point was painted all pink before being then painted all blue. Blegh to both imo. Both the dusty magenta and egg shell and navy blues were all terrible. UK landlords owning older homes that need routine maintenance and then doing absolutely none of it are absolutely determined to get damp, it's like they're actively seeking out damp.

I've tried the following:

- Updated the phones OS

- Changing preferred network type

- Changing VoLTE settings

- Disabling Wifi Calling

- Resetting the devices network, wifi and Bluetooth settings

- Changing Sim card slot

- Cleaning the Sim card

- Changing Sim card entirely

- Switching to E-Sim

- Changing provider

Changing provider, changing to e-sim and resetting my network, wifi and Bluetooth settings all fixed the issue for about 3 days max, but the issue always returns.

I really don't want to have to get a new not Xiaomi phone but I'm having more and more specific issues just like this that only seem to happen with the redmi models and it's driving me nuts. I don't think I've had the phone for more than 2 years so it's ridiculous that I can't have something as simple as cell service on my dang cell phone.

If I'm missing something, let me know because I'm at the end of my rope, I cannot work out what the deal is and can find others having the same issue but the fixes don't work for me or at least not for more than a few days max.
