I’ve got a large jug of cream and one of half and half. I’d like to blend them 50/50 because I like that blend for ice cream base, but can I portion it out and freeze it to use in recipes later after it’s been thawed? I’ve read you can freeze and thaw heavy cream but when I tried it the thawed cream was separated into like milk and clumps of fat about the consistency of ricotta cheese but a bit runnier
