During storms, you may not always have sunlight. It could be cloudy, hazy, or your panels could be dirty and maybe you can’t quickly clean them or they become damaged from debris.

So always have a backup for your back up. My backup includes a dual fuel generator but it also includes the Anker SOLIX s200 Alternator Charger! It’s a great alternative option to solar. It’s small and I have it mounted behind my seats. I can charge while I drive or even idle so I know I can always refill my power stations quickly if needed! #100stormpreppers

My storm prep includes charging my Anker units to be prepared! Power is critical to keep our fridge cold, our tv and network running, and communication lines open!

Things that are not Anker related include emergency radio, water, food, games for the kids, and winter appropriate supplies.

All of this is important but keeping the lights on and a sense of normalcy is important for the kids to remain calm and entertained. Hope this helps! #100stormpreppers
