Anker solix e10 power panel + other batteries.

Has anyone tried to add other non-anker batteries to the panel? Is it possible? I mean i imagine it isnt because of software reasons, but just a thought.

Anker Solix E10 Solar Export?

I saw in a review of the E10 system that it doesn't export excess energy coming from the solar panels back to the grid.  Is this true?

Exporting solar energy to the grid (net metering) is integral to minimizing my electric bills. Can anyone verify if this is (or is not) the case?

Anker Solix Energy Storage System - Anker E10

I have my installation of my Anker Solix E10 System coming up soon. I am in Massachusetts. There are some concerns around NEC 702.12(B) which says:

702.12(B) – Portable Generator Connection

The connection point (flanged inlet or other cord-and-plug connection) used to connect a portable generator shall be located outside of a building or structure.

I plan on installing the system in my Basement of my home and since the E10 has an integrated generator connection directly on the inverter itself.... Would this completely rule out installing the system indoors?!

It is UL listed and here is some relevant documentation. Also - system one-pager.

Thanks!

#100StormPreppers, Anker SOLIX = lifesaver!

Before I setup my three Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2s, my entire household would be down for the count during power outages. Now, my Anker SOLIX units keep us online, they allow us to continue watching TV uninterrupted, and they keep all our critical devices charged and ready to go! The uninterrupted power supply (UPS) feature detects outages and immediately activates the backup power supply seamlessly, without delay. These Anker units are lifesavers and I'm planning on buying more soon!

BP 2000 Gen 2 SOC limits

Hallo,

I am the happy owner of a C2000 Gen 2. I use it primarily for backup power in my office, however it might be slightly under dimensioned. I also use it for TOU, not to save money, but just offset the cost a bit. Therefore I am thinking about getting the expansion battery as well.

I don’t keep the pack at 100% constantly and I try not to discharge below 10%, as to keep better longevity, and this is where my questions comes in.

-If I set a charge limit to 90% will I then have both main unit and expansion battery at 90%? Or one at 100% and the other at 80%? Similar question about the lower limits.

-My understanding is that the expansion battery will always be drained first and charged last. Can anyone confirm that behavior?

Thanks for any information you can help me with.
